Windsor Castle

No trip to Windsor would be complete without visiting Windsor Castle. It is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. It is open to visitors throughout the year.

Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 40 monarchs. Explore the State Apartments, the Semi-State Rooms and St George’s Chapel, which has hosted the nuptials and more recently funerals of many royals.

Windsor Great Park

Windsor Great Park is an operational Estate and Royal park stretching across 2,020 hectares (5,000 acres). Once part of a vast Norman hunting forest, the Great Park is now shared by millions of visitors each year. Explore the beautiful Savill Garden, enjoy a relaxing walk around Virginia Water Lake, be sure to check out the Totem Pole and see if you can find find the Waterfall.

It is a glorious space to enjoy walking, running, cycling, horse riding, fishing or just relaxing with family and friends.

Legoland Windsor

Legoland Windsor opened in 1996 and has since become the most popular theme park in the UK by 2019.

Don’t be fooled into thinking Legoland Windsor is just for kids, whilst there’s ride and waterparks for children, the park widely encourages all children aged 18+ to bring their imagination and create masterpieces of their own.
